This policy explains what information colist collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This draft is a placeholder pending final legal review.
Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Listing information you submit, such as the property address, photos, pricing, and descriptions.
Usage information generated as you use the Service, such as device and log data, and communications routed through the platform (for example, buyer inquiries and showing requests).
To provide and operate the Service — creating and syndicating your listing, generating valuations and comparable-sales data, routing buyer inquiries, and supporting your account.
To communicate with you about your account, listings, and updates, and to provide customer support.
To secure, maintain, and improve the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.
With service providers who process data on our behalf — including property-data, communications (voice/SMS), payment, email, and authentication providers — under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing their service to us.
With multiple listing services and downstream portals when you choose to syndicate your listing, and with prospective buyers who contact you through the platform.
When required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of colist, our users, or the public. We do not sell your personal information.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function without them.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@colist.ai.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; we may still send you service-related messages.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashing of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated by email.
